Yes that's the same Ben Franklin that's one of the founding fathers, he also said "it's the responsible of every citizen to question the government" So why aren't people outraged, why aren't people saying "what the fuck are you doing to my country Mr. Bush?" Thomas Jefferson (another "left wing moonbat") said "All tyranny needs to gain a foothold is for people of good conscience to remain silent"

I feel like I'm the only one who cares anymore about my country, and i'm not talking about those Bush ass-kissing "patriot" yes men, i mean the people who still believe that the Constitution is the guiding law of this country not a flag or a person or an executive order or a war. I have two more examples showing that Bush doesn't give a damn about the American People.

1. Croney McSnowjob (Tony Snow) the Presidential Spokesliar said (paraphrasing) "The issues are too complex for the American People to understand" talking about the lies Gonzalez and Libby were caught in. So essentially the person speaking on behalf of the president called us all STUPID! Us stupid Americans can't understand the complexities of our own government and the rampant and blatant dishonesty and abuse that's clear as crystal every day in the papers. Bush just told Congress he was going to Veto their Child Health Care Bill because "that's why we have Emergency Rooms" Who's Stupid now? Who needs Child Health Care Mr. "No Child Left Behind"

2. The White House released a statement that (THIS is a direct quote) "Congress is running wild". Why did they say this? Because of the ongoing investigation of known felons working in the White House (Libby, Gonzalez, Bush, Cheney, Rove...) and re-evaluation of the War in Iraq. Congress is doing it's job of "Checks and Balances", and I'm quoting the US Constitution. It's not some Democratic "Political Theatre", it's their job, "we the people" elect people to represent us in Congress in order to check the Executive and Judicial branches who are themselves out of control, drunk on Bush/Cheney's power trip and notion of invulnerability. It's called the workings of a Republic.

The "Injustice in Government" according to the Republicans, is NOT that the White House is breaking laws and ruining 200+ years of historical tradition (e.g. the Constitution, that silly thing) it's that Congress and the Media is pointing it out. Listen to the news conferences! Bush doesn't say "The War is going bad because I screwed up!" he's saying "The War is going bad because congress is too busy investigation illegal activity in government to give me more money" Is that not the most backwards shit you've ever heard? Don't blame yourself for drunk driving, blame the cop for arresting you...

I saw this bumper sticker that read "Somebody give Bush a blowjob so we can impeach im already" It's sad but Americans do care more about that than lying to get into a war that's taking our brothers, sons, and fathers. Remember "Dissent is the highest form of Patriotism" Jefferson also said "Every generation needs a Revolution" Meaning we need to clean out the garbage every once in awhile.

The truest test of this Democracy will be if it can survive this Bush era... if we let Bush declare Martial Law after the next terrorist attack than the wolves have won and we will all lose the very freedom that we're taking for granted.

P.S. Bush just asked Congress to approve a $20 Billion Arms Sale to Saudi Arabia (yes the country where more than half of the 9/11 terrorists and the current Al-Qaeda in Iraq came from)
