I am probably one of the dorkest girls ever
So last Friday, during girls night we all went to the mall to go dress shopping for Pride. Though while I was there I found the Coheed and Cambria "Neverender" (Children Of The Fence edition) for like a 100.00. I was like omg why didnt I know this thing exsisted and do I spend the money on it (I had only taken out about that much and still didnt have the dress) I decided to hold off on it, which I doubted bit cause apparently that ones limited to only so many copies...
So yesterday my mom took me to the mall to look for flats, (not planning on wearing heels all of Pride). The trip to the mall ended up being like my birthday revisted (since the Yes concert was cancelled). So we start at the shopping at Wet Seal, where like the dork I am got this Metallica "Ride The Lighting" t-shirt, and a pair of heart earrings. (I love hearts, stars, music notes). Went down to Hot Topic and she got me "Neverender" and like these plaid earrings, Charlotte Russe was having this deal if you buy one pair of shoes the other is $10.00. So I left with two pairs of flats (which I will probably start wearing at work some times). Finished up at like Forever 21, which I am starting to love more and more, because its decently priced, and you can mix and match well, so I ended up with a vest and a scarf that matched the earrings from Hot Topic....
I am also out of foundation and my mom took me to Wallmart to track down Max Factor: Pan Stick, and some loose powder.
But moral of this story is a I am nerd for Coheed and Cambria and will be watching them perform all 4 albums live while I wish I was still writing spin off songs with my old band Scar The Armada, if it was not a one time experiment.that was the double edge sword to my exsistance, I would contemplate re doing it.
But instead I wil write lo fi pop songs or at lest try to I cant seem to get this album to flesh itself out yet, and I dont really want to force it, cause it could be good, if I just give it time to get itself ready before I help mold it. I feel really weird when I talk about music, cause to me I dont write, the piece writes itself and I am only there to help guide it, and providing some nutriants to help it grow. I dont sit down and go I want this to happen, it is what it wants to be. Thats why when people ask what genre or style I write, I can never say I do anything to praticular because after its done it usually has its own tone, and it will comunicate its style and what would fit it best.
......
Last night was really fun, I managed to see Divinity (my drag mommy), DeDe (who just moved down), Sizzel (my TS mommy) her whole crew, and I even got to see Cherrie (my old drag mom) - so it was almost like I got to spend time with my "other" family. before having to spend all today with my real family.
