So I have decided that I am going to try and re work some of the old artistic projects
When I wrtie I always set everything up in a wierd way. I useally name said project, then I break it down into what albums fall under that project title, then I break the albums down into track listings as like a skeleton of what I need to write. Since most of my stuff is concept and story based it gives me a rough outline, akin to if I was writing a novel.
So for example the project I am re-opening up is called "Ports Of Elsinore" (which is an allusion to Hamlet) since this project deals with adaptions of some of Shakespeare's tragedies. So basically I end up with basically a bunch of pre packed band content even down to like band name if so be it.
I have four albums planned under this project title, Rape, Murder, Revenge (Titus Andronicus), The Moor Of Venice (Othello), The Fishmonger's Daughter (Hamlet) and The Prince Of Cats (Romeo and Juliet) which is also really wierd cause each adaption is going to be done differently, while some are going to be adapted pretty true to the originals, The Fishmonger's Daughter is going to be based more on Ethan Hawk's Hamlet since I like the idea of Hamlet as sort of like a tourchered artist type.
So basically thats what I am working on lately, usually all four albums are being written at the same time.
