In the spirit of 'If you can't find anything nice to say, don't say anything at all', at least I can so choose long gone SG's for my favorites... Okay, a weak attempt but one was made. This morning I swept through the site trying to take account of which sets in particular have been blacked out due to the rightly well-publicized 'black out' and of course, they are all of my favorites that I'd never quite gotten around to saving locally. Being an old expert of e-mailing my elected officials, I made use of a few different form letters floating around on-site. A couple of minutes ago I'd cruised around the Congressional site again, re-read my letter and those others posted obviously from other members here. If you're interested, check here.
Yesterday was the SGCT Big 'E' trip and it went well, I thought. I was marginally disappointed that we hadn't bumped into anyone from MA or RI or hell, others in CT but, our carload was certainly plenty. Quote of the day easily goes to the Chinese curio booth that we'd stumbled across. I made my way inside, immediately spotted several boxes of fans and began to slap them against my wrists and flick them open. I turned to the rest of the group and tried giving them my best 'giggling geisha'. The shop owner spied me and said, "Oh! You must be from San Francisco!" Zing!
In my common current of geek talk, I've been playing around with a hack in the iTunes music store... One is able (through some effort) to download all of their music videos that they host there. As the next rumored stage of their generally approved world domination plan, they 're very, very likely to roll out video-enabled iPods and sell content for it through the music store. In interests of saving several dollars ( and to amuse myself for an hour), I'm in the process of downloading something like 25+ better-than-average quality video files. If you're so inclined, digg this.
And now, to comment!
