Tonight the two operative words are: Yay! and Ouch! The first of two sittings for my Mucha tattoo finished a couple of hours ago. We fiddled around blowing my girl up an additional 25-30% and getting her situated. Then, six hours in the chair covering outline, grey work and shading. Christian is a joy to sit for as we have over the years discovered as have many of the same interests...books, music, food and art. A healthy diet for anyone, really. I was able to catch him up on foodie non-fiction I've devoured in recent years. He caught me up on japanese space rock of the early 70's. I'm due to go back in the first weel of the month, well-healed and aiming for color. Of course, pictures are on the way.

While taking a break, I discovered I somehow sprained or generally fucked up my left index finger... It's usuable when points (no pun intended) to no breakage however, there's an odd protusion from the knuckle. Strange, huhh? I originally resigned myself of having to go to the ER for an x-ray but, I fucking hate the emergency room. Whenever I go, I'm never near-death and end up waiting between 6-9 hours. No really, 6-9 hours! I have enough sick time accrued to take months off if needed. An additional day off, 45 minutes of which in my doctor's office works just fine for me.
