You ever have one of those weeks where you're unable to account for any of the lots of time you've spent doing...something? I've tomorrow off and I've been trying to reckon why I'm so exhausted. Perhaps I should just chalk it up to lack of sleep. That excuse is almost always in season.
I was able to hangout with the ever dearest, ever-greyed AmazonRed13 on Tuesday... My girl scored herself an '81 Cadillac hearse. We ran errands, caught up over lunch and kvetched over better halves who were ill and obstinate. I brought up tomorrow night's Movie Night pt. Deux in Fairfield and she sounded interested in attending. Zang! Being able to talk about random going's on and not all of them being fun things makes me that much happier that she's stayed on so long as close counsel.
Spent an evening at ElmCityDrunk's with a visit from one of his oldest friends... It's always fun to be introduced to friends who have been around long enough to know all of the dirty laundry anecdotes.
Played tech service go-to perspn for AP's grandmother... She's an incredibly intelligent engaged person who has found a way to have used computers for the better part of the last decade and know nothing about them. We've been trying to make it down to her place in Westport once a month for dinner and computer updates, scans, what have you. This time we responded to reported viral problems which makes sense since she hasn't run such a scan ever in her laptop's four-year life. Brought it back home behind a DSL connection as opposed to her dial-up, found quite the list of spyware items and 1/2 dozen odd viruses. It's humming along but in dire need of a reformatting and reinstallation of her OS.
Looking forward to tomorrow night!!! I have the odd 3-4 loads of laundry tp knock out prior to drinking and social butterfly flitting. I'd also care to stop by and visit Christian at Lovecraft Tattoo in Amity. My income tax return check landed and I've money to burn!
