I think work could've ended on a better note but, I am now vacating...this being my vacation and all. Work consisted of 14.5 hours of watching the clock, waiting for 11pm to strike. The first half I was along side a new staffperson who seems to be working out well. He volunteers for tons of hours, is genuinely engaged about what goes on with our residents and seemingly is a guy who 'gets it'...a remarkable find in and of itself. The second half of my day was working w/ a far newer person. This cat jumps careers every ten years or so and had formerly been a police officer and a public school special ed. teacher. This guy doesn't seem to ''get it'. He seemed to be easily overwhelmed, distant and unwilling to volunteer to aid me in the smallest of projects. Hmmm....perhaps that's the sound of the door being shown. One hopes, at least.
As this evening was winding down, I double-crossed my fingers and painted toes about the fellow due to relieve me. He's the same employee who's still employed after ditching work, has made being late a lifestyle choice and is generally smug. I received 'the call'' reporting a car breakdown on I-95 North near exit 80. He suggested I come and pick him up lest he be late. Um, no. I suggested he call the nearest employee to him and ask for a ride. That employee would particularly give a shit for he's our boss. Over 3-5 phonecalls, The Tosser strongarmed a local staff member to meet him where his car was towed to and drive him in. He strolled in drunk and tried paying me out of his pocket for the overtime that had just incurred. Another way of viewing that action is trying to buy me off in cash for not reoprting his inexcusable delay and subsequent dismissal. Again, uh, no. Over the course of my 10-14 days off, I have to pop my head into work for a job performance review. A supervisory aside may be in order, non?
Anyway, I'm relaxing and coming to the home stretch of Project: CD Collection Importation. iTunes informs me 46.29 G's of my collection are available in 0's and 1's. I'm now at Dinah Washington, soon to arrive at Muddy Waters. Almost there but, not quite.
I plan on having huddles with some of you folk over the next couple of days... Plans of mine previously raised were Drive-In (which I discovered had since closed), Flux, Bound and Richard III at Edgerton Park. Another one that can be added is Hero. I remember seeing the trailer at Kill Bill 2 and thinking that the second that movie opened I'd have to see. Perhaps a couple days after the release is close enough. As always, much love my lovlies.

I'm back from my trip. I have alot of pics to run thru photoshop to make them SG happy. Most should be up in a weeks time. As for Flux, depending on how tired I am tomorrow I might attend. Just gotta wait and see.
