Ugh...hangover, bad. I went out celebrate the b-day of a friend of AmazonRed13 and by the end of it I was thankful the bar was within walking distance from home. I'm rehydrating like a motherfucker and squinting at this text isn't helping my low-level brain throb.
This week has been work, work and more work... Part of my job consists of doling out medication to our residents. One has to go through a number a of state-mandated courses and at the end, you usually get a raise, as well. Because of shitty staffing problems, it's been myself and two other staffers who attend school full-time. That means twice a day one of us has to be present to perform such functions. When I say 'one of us', I really mean me. Days off or not, having just left work a few hours prior or not, instead of spending brief glimpses of the outside world staring at my girlfriend and drinking coffee - nope. Everyday for the most part will be a workday. Curses!
One of the few chuckles of late has been receiving mail. My dad cashed in a bunch of never-to-be-used frequent flyer miles on magazine subscriptions for me. Random nice useful present from a man not known for them. For the past week and change I've gotten a new title nearly every day. So far it's been Food & Wine, Spin, Portable Computing & PC. I've completely forgotten how many there were altogether and what they were so, finding these amonst bills and junk mail has been a needed treat.
