Well, the Yale exodus is still in progress... Graduation week is always something of a good and bad thing. Finding ways around Elm St is always an annoyance but, the absence of the Yale underclass in my favorite haunts...*sigh*

Those not in the know, Barbara Bush (the younger) graduated from Yale this year. It was marked w/ The President & First Lady arriving at Tweed/New Haven and fucking up traffic for the rest of us. Laura Bush stuck around for the grad ceremony while W. fled, needing to ask others the definitions of domestic & foreign policy.

The scene reminds me when W. had given the commencement for the Class of '01. It was most famous for him stating, "And to you 'C' students, you too can be president of the United States." The ever-lucky AmazonRed13 was graduating and caught the snores, bad jokes and protesters galore.

The images left this time were far more amusing... Prior to his arrival, George Bush (The Lesser) had gone mountain biking (read-level terrain) & wiped out nicely. He emerged from Air Force One w/ a fitting case of road rash. See...
