Of late, I've felt somewhat bad that my posts have been work-heavy... I can only imagine it being incredibly boring after the first one or two whinings of "Work, work, work, work..." So in an effort to bring you, the reading public, a fuller WelnTaod picture, I happily bring you the following non-employment themed entry.
I was able to hike up West Rock yesterday afternoon... Not an amazing feat, in and of itself but, it's something I've never done before. Most days spent hiking and the like have been at Sleeping Giant in Hamden, East Rock in NH or biking on the Farmington Canal Trail. West Rock has been on my too-do list for years primarily because it is a visual fixture of my parents backyard.
I'm gonna have to drag my outdoors-minded better half to the top lookout as well as my camera. Like a dolt, I completely forgot to bring it with me...
Today I'm hauling laundry over to the 'Rents for the usual weekly ritual of catching up on younger brother doings, computer maintainence and use of their big-screen. After I'm done w/ this, I'm heading over to the library to gaff more CD's and movies to watch. I'd previously posted on a Martin Scorsese Blue mini-series...I may have to pick up one or two more to view & drool over. Of late, I've been bolstering some classical in my collection from the use of their's. The newest additions have been Beethoven's String Quartet No. 7 (Op 59 no. 1) & Bela Bartok: Complete String Quartets.
Other projects today are playing w/ the new family additions, cleaning up after the new family additions & joining a local Sam's Club for my group home to make use of. Oh, and catching up with you folk! If not today than certainly phone calls tomorrow!
