It's 8:20 in the morning . I'm at my 'rents house gaffing their DSL and having my windshield repaired in the driveway. It's also the third time I've had to wake up early to meet the repairperson...the first two were schedule and order mix-ups. I'd complain but, the cat performing the install was able to knock an additional $50 off of my reapir cost. The original estimate he'd given was already $50-60 cheaper than a quote I'd received a month or two ago. So, in saving something like $100-120...I'm a happy boy!

I was able to leave work early yesterday, sort of... An on-call staff member came through on be able to relieve me of the last 6 of my 24hr shift. The buck was passed for him to then take a particular client to a B-Day party held at a restaurant in Hamden. Things didn't go well! There was a number of restraints and take-downs just after cake was served. Everyone ended up fine but, it required my going back in for an unforseen two hours of paperwork and documentation. Luckily, I have today and tomorrow off to clear up my sniffles.

Looking forward to the upcoming week to possibly make some plans w/ folk. I'd mentioned to Buddha that I'm babysitting my parents' house and more importantly, the plasma TV & surround sound system. I'm interested in hooking up my PS2 & truely set it through some proper paces. Don't own an X-Box so, perhaps no Halo...sorry Buddha. Is anything new being good being released?
