I'm so breaking down the doors of Best Buy tomorrow morning! I randomly glanced at my checking account online to see if someone had cashed a check. And it seems as if my tax return landed via direct deposit...that was something like a turnaround time of less than a week! Hot damn! I can only imagine how full my pics tab will be within the next week.

I spent the evening getting drinks w/ my friends Lisa & Megan who're both library administrators at Yale. 'Twas Megan's B-Day and got the call for spontaneous happy hour fare shortly after work. I also headed to the Post Mall to spend a gift card I'd been given at Xmas. I settled on an Annie Proulx novel, Chuck Klosterman's last book & a $6 copy of Our Band Could Be Your Life...pretty good take.
