Recently I've become rss happy, again. For those not in the know, click here. I started using a new browser called Flock, which is based on Firefox. You can use it as this interesting hub for all of your blogging, Facebook use, Flickr & Photobucket uploading, etc. One of my curiosities has long been how to incorporate some of the advantages of syndication (such as fun w/ Yahoo Pipes) and this website. Original ideas three years ago were writing a widget for windows and alternately, having an rss-friendly homepage display recent comments.
A couple of weeks ago, I remembered an old s5 announcement discussing tech rollouts for the site. I checked and on the boards, he introduced the Technology Page. You can still find it at the foot of this page you're reading. Go look & click it, I'll wait... See!? It's happily this little forgotten corner of SG that had been spared the scourge of makeovers - it's own SG Internet Wayback Machine!
So along the left side, there are the feeds for comments to your page, newest sets, your bookmarks (inc. friends), etc. I've imported all of that fun stuff into Flock and upon it's starting, it gives me the quick pulse of SG, Facebook, blogs I read religiously and misc. geek news. All that's left is waiting for a portable version like Portable Firefox. That way, I can truly maximize the time I waste at work!

I never noticed that technology page before.

Thanks for the birthday wishes, bro. Wow, Flock looks interesting. I'd never heard of it, but then again you've always been one of my tech go-to guys.
