So yeah i guess this will be my update..
I'm still living in Vegas and to tell you the truth i fucking love it here. I think i should of made the move a long time ago or at least some kind of change in my life. I'm really happy right with my life right now. I dont hate my life or my job or even the people around me. Im really content with myself. I do miss all my friends (because we were pretty close) and just being able to call someone and hang out but ive met some pretty cool people out here actually.
I really enjoy my new job. It's a BULLSHIT job but its so easy and pays really well, so i love it. I do a whole lot less work and get paid a whole lot more than i did at my last job. My starting pay here was more than what i was making after being with sears for more than 5 years.
I also eat like a king here, I can have a steak and shrimp dinner with the worksfor 6.99. I eat at a buffet everyday for lunch (my job provides that for FREE) So i save a shitload of money that way. My friend Cam out here works at Mac. Grill and Mimi's Cafe so we get hooked up there all the time.
What i do miss is all the shows i use to g to out in California. They have a few good shows out here but its mostly Psycobilly and crappy rock lol..but theres a little scene with some people that put on some good shows. so im trying to get to know them. i saw DEADBOLT the other night. That was fucking awesome. I'm also going to try and get some rockabilly bands i know to come out here and play.Pretty much the only bands that come here are like really big well known bands..this town has so many cool ass bars though. its fucking great.
So yeah overall im really happy here, like i said i miss my friends but ive had a few of them come down and stay with me already thats always cool. i miss my parents but i talk to them every now and then. Life is good right now.
