i don't want to go to dinner with my family.
not that i don't like going to dinner with my family.
my dad is injured and can't sit down long he wants to go to an early dinner quick.
my aunt is just waking up and she wants to go to a late dinner.
and my grandma is a giant fucking pain in the ass and she wants to go and sit and have a long dinner at an expensive prestigious restaurant.
no one can agree on a restaurant no one can agree on a time.
and to make everything better... what is the lovely occasion for this dinner... well it's was my uncles birthday yesterday, my dad's brother... and he died last august. i don't want to deal with these people today. fun it's going to be soooo fun.
last time we did one of these dinners i dont' remember why, but in ends up in the alocholic grandma drunk and crying and ruining the dinner and then she needs someone to take her home so they need to take two cars to do that cause someone has to drop off her car and it's just a fucking ordeal. and she doesn't get the concept of not talking with food in her mouth so it's all half hanging out and she is an asshole to all the waiters and she doesn't understand that she is rude and disgusting.
plan of attack for the evening. get a strong drink. this gets me out of having to be one of the people to drive grandma home. the parents don't want their drunk child driving around. and don't sit across from grandma food might end up on you.
i should just stay home

update:
on the way to dinner i got called an asshole and me and my mom got told were we were retarded.
no one had to drive grandma home this time. and the drink they made me was weak.
i did get hit in the face with a menu though.
and told like 50 times that everyone liked my ex and wants him to be part of the family. ha.
then besides that half of the food sucked, it's always nice when my grandma offers to pay cause then when the check comes we have to listen to her complain about it. especially that a tea cost 3 50. ugh.
i did get some pills from grandma though.

That's why none of my family lives in California, So I don't have to deal with them, ever.
Then again, it's easy to do when you are the black sheep anyway, I get to see them once a year for one day only.
Every year is worse than the last.
I'm doing okay, there's a few things in my life that I need to evaluate and possibly eliminate, but apart from all of that drama, I am fairly happy right now with how things are.
