No one has ever said they were cute on me. I know I've certainly seen many a female in my time who's "looked cute in them."

Love the comic! Who did the artwork? It's very appropriate for what you're doing here. It's great!

feelings are boring.
kissing is awesome!
deuteranopia:
I wholeheartedly agree with this statement, and yet cannot follow through with the latter part due to being an orthodontist's wet dream. So, stuck with the feelings, I am.

Interesting conversations you've had with coffeelove, I must admit.
coffeelove:
See, this is your chance. And no one knows us! No need for Anita and Marina. biggrin

i just wanted to say "i'm sorry i'm a bitch like that", and i was kinda hoping the man in question wouldn't even answer, because the answer was, inevitably "yes okay so are you ready to STOP being all bitchy now",

and no, really, i'm not, i was just trying to do the right thing and apologise for it, you know?

I cannot for the life of me figure out how to do a purl stitch, continental or otherwise.
- That said, I cannot believe I'm watching youtube vids of people knitting.

...It's going to be a long painful journey towards making my very own shark-eating-my-head hat...

HI, has the Tori Amos concert happened yet?
I missed out on seeing her in Boston Mass. in Aug.
But, I had in the previous weeks taken my 11yr old
to a long week-end of Grateful Dead survivors &
similar Jam Bands. Then Green Day; a good mix of
older, Broken Dreams, & new.
As for the spider, do the stores there sell 'fly swatters'
a wire handle with a plastic mesh rectangle, to mash it with.
Or try to find a 'bug vacuum' [ amazon.com ] a flashlite sized handle
with a long plastic tube, a small fan sucks the offerning bug
up into the tube [ which has a cover ] for transport to a less
disturbing home.
Should you want to meet people shareing similar interests on SG,
try joining some Groups. Some of the ones I belong to Grateful Dead,
Prog Rock, Philosophy, Atheists, & Gluten Free.
Some of the people here collect friends, others don't take
'drive by friendings' wanting to swap comments for awhile to see if
they like the other person. Just saying.
As for the purl stich; ask at the yarn shop for a pointer.
For what it's worth over the years I've heard a lot of women say
how much more comfortable they are after getting fitted for a bra.
Be excellent.

Curry on the cooker. Intensely antisocial weeks.

I want to draw stuff, but I can't give it any purpose, and I want to re-learn what used to be a writing skill, but I don't dare to. Pondering the november nanowrimo.

I observe myself and I wonder at how I, without noticing, became this angry uptight thing; I think I used to think it was worth...

I do that too. I'll walk around all day with a big smudge obscuring my vision. You are not the only one. smile
walkaway:
Haha! That makes me feel better. biggrin This is just another one of those things people don't talk about, I was discussing with coffeelove just yesterday how no one ever admits to the drastic measures needed to clean a lasagna pan. I'm going to write an illustrated Life Manual, I just need somebody to share with me how to clean a mirror without leaving streaks, how to eat a whole head of lettuce before half of it goes bad in a single household, and maybe how to kill a spider without having to get within one meter of it. Life is haaard!

i met the best shop clerk in the world today, i think she was, like, the patron saint of fat-asses. i now own four new pairs of trousers and feel all re-inspired to do comic strips about, you know, being the owner of said fat-ass. and chubby-belly and football-calves and double-chins and all that. whenever i google for inspirational women on that subject, i just...

everyone's weight struggles are different... and yes - men generally have it easier. I gain weight in only one place, my stomach, so if I put on ANY weight, people ask me when I'm due... it happened TWICE last fall. so I made one radical change to my diet and dropped 10 pounds in 6 weeks.... I cut out sugar. all sugar. any form of sugar. works like a charm.
but - just so you know, you are totally beautiful kiss
walkaway:
Aww love And yeah, I believe in the strict no-sugar (consequently low-carb) philosophy. It's the worst addiction I've ever worked on quitting though, cigarettes were -nothing- by comparison!

The nearest neighbour is kinda wolfish and mean but occasionally he hints he'd make a great husband.

Yes, I'm referring to Animal Crossing. In which my character has the same pink hairdo I had when I was sixteen. In other news; last night I drew a comic about a horse.

Life is so interesting

I have a Tori Amos ticket. Cheers!

Also have the flight tickets for a Dublin visit w. friends - and there's a little comic-con just after that. This is the busiest month event-wise I've seen in a while and I will probably have to skip at least one of these things.

I wish it wasn't the case. At least the concert is local; I do...

Spider situation unchanged!

I am however slowly disintegrating. Watched the Addams Family and the Witches (the Roald Dahl film, you know), now looking for some sappy teen romance or something.

I tried to chat up a Silent Bob-lookalike.
