HAPPY HOLIDAYS EVERYONE!
Hope all is well, it has been far too long since I have been blogging, so I'll throw some updates your way.
So I'm finally getting back into running again after a couple of month hiatus. It feels good I must say.... did my first 7k in almost 3 months today.
I think there were a lot of factors that caused me to fall off the wagon here:
-I am relatively new to competitive running. I only started running consistently this summer.
-I did a half-marathon in October, and didn't have anything I was really interested in training for after finishing.
-School work finally started kicking my ass, and there wasn't much I could do about that.
All in the past though, I suppose! Hopefully this is a new start for me! I am thinking about picking up the new Nimbus 11's from Asic. Check out these bad boys!
Life, aside from running:
Right now, life is pretty good. I'm getting to spend some much needed time home with my family after a rough semester, and I'm making money to get me through the winter term, so that is pretty sweet. Christmas was great... just really nice to see the family together again, because I don't think we'll all be in one place for much longer.
I'm about to approach a friend of the family to see if they would consider being a co-signer on a line of credit for me for grad school. I was accepted into the University of Canberra's physiotherapy program, but definitely can't pay the bills without a line of credit, so here is hoping!
