Phase two of summer break starts today!
Yesterday I finished the half-marathon that I had been training for for about 3 months. It was a bad training program for me, I had a lot of injuries along the way, so I'm glad to finally put the race behind me. I finished a bit less than 4 minutes slower than my personal best, which put be at 1:33:23 for my final time, and placed me at 41st out of 1832 runners. I'm pretty happy all things considered. I was aiming for a 1:35:00 finishing time so I beat my goal!
Aside from that, the other things that have been occupying my time are just about over as well. I am finally graduated and done with my undergrad school, and the short term job that I have is coming to an end.

So with all of that now in the past, it is time to focus on me for 51 days. I'm taking this opportunity to get into shape both physically and academically. Exercise and reviewing anatomy for my masters will be the focal points of my summer, and I am very excited for the improvements I am hoping to make
