It has been slow and steady for me and Ms. Red Head, but we finally kissed last night I haven't emotionally invested myself in someone for a pretty long time, since it usually doesn't work out well but I'm feeling optimistic about her.
She sure likes to tease me about being a vegetarian though! I'll take it though... she's too effin cute to let that be a factor!
Need some life advice from the lovely people of SG Land. Two work options for the summer:
A) Potential to make some pretty serious cash selling security systems (along with my soul) in New York. Also a potential to make little to no cash if I'm bad at it. It would be a crazy summer regardless just being in New York for 4 months!
B) Good money and life experience working in Alberta at a special needs camp. This is not only something that is pretty dear to me, but it could also help with graduate school applications. My little brother is out there, as well as some friends which would also make for a totally rad summer!
What do you all think?
In other news, I did a shroom session recently and had a pretty wild trip on 3.5 . I always dose with my friend, and it is crazy the types of change your relationship with your friend goes through during that trip. We would both have moments where we just wanted to be alone to introspect, and other moments where we needed to communicate with each other.
I use shrooms to try to get a better understanding of who I am and what I want in life, and I made some interesting discoveries.
I realized that the positions and expectations that people put on me actually stresses me out a lot more than I thought. I had an overwhelming urge to shed all titles and just be a body during the trip. I also felt that life seemed like a waiting game, always looking forward to the next big thing that is coming up. Along the same lines, it seemed as if we always have to look to others for approval in society. Whether it be a boss or a professor.
I found during the trip that I was at points reduced to very core needs. All I wanted during the trip was heat, food, and family. It was interesting how I worried so much about my family.
I'd be curious to hear about anyone elses experiences on a psychedelic, specifically magic mushrooms!
I'll leave you with some classic female British invasion that is likely inspired by my red head:
