New years, new ideas, new hope.
Alright, so I really want to go a new photoshoot, but I have abandoned the tea party idea -- I'm thinking "After a Long Day at Work" theme. I am still working at Starbucks and I was looking in the mirror tonight and it struck me. It could be a really hot theme.

To sum up my life: Cory and I are awesome...my job is awesome (I heart working at Starbucks) and school is awesome (I got a B on my latest History ESSAY test). LIFE IS AWESOME. Of course, life could be even more awesome if SG would accept my photoshoot, but hey...you can't have it all. Or can you?

I have to say that working in the mall around Christmas time is positively HORRIBLE. I don't know how much longer I can take the Christmas music. I'm still selling shoes at the same rate as a few weeks ago. Nothing has really changed, unfortunately.

By the gods... I had forgot about the Christmas music... they start playing it in October, and keep at it until the end of January.
You get numb to the music after a while... but the people get more and more stressed-out as it gets closer to x-mas... including the people you work for (because they know they'll be making all their money over the next 2 months)... it's not a happy time of year to be in retail (but it's kinda cool, if you get a commission)

My advice: Brace yourself for the unending stream of bullshit that is headed your way (because people inherently suck, and working in a place where you have to deal with stressed-out douchebags for an entire 2 months sucks HARD)...
And enjoy your time off... don't think about work... don't stop by the mall... don't let them call you in (because all the other employees are looking for an excuse not to be there too, so this is the time of the year they just start making shit up)... hahaha... don't even WEAR shoes.

(the upside is: there will be so much shit going-on, that it will all be over before you know it)

I officially quit Wendy's today. I now work at the mall. Le sigh. College student jobs suck ass.

Not to mention I need to save money to attempt to create an accepted photo shoot. I have some pretty nifty ideas. I just need to find the props and outfits.

Congrats on the "B" History was not my best friend in school either. Reading about the history of human failings never excited me at all, now machine dynamics was another story. Probably boring to you tho. BTW, Federal law prohibits docking your pay for any problems involving computer errors on automated systems like Wendy's. If they did, ask for your money back.
