Today I'm putting my comedy set together. its quite fun and scary now i know i have two gigs and maybe some open mics to do.
last night i died on stage. After three hours sleep, work, and a three hour commute to the class my brain was fried. sad, as it was the last class, but i refuse to let it get me down. i will be very well prepared for my gigs. I want to be breathing the material. My 'don't give a fuck attitude' must be Spartan over the next few weeks. I will learn well from the master Stuart Lee friday. I have about 15 friends going and the afternoon off to sup jager!
Tonight, after my day of comedy, i intend to watch Fight Club now I've finished reading the novel, which incidentally is perfect, and maybe view High Fidelity, but first Team Lidl assembles to go ridding! its been too long and my new board is ready to roll.
I got my first mix back from chemo and the track sounds pro now. I am stoked although it means coughing up a lot of cash to pay for the mixes and then getting a pro demo package together to send to labels. I may do an independent release later in the year. A friend of mine runs a distribution company so hopefully he will support. Either way i will have some music i like at a pro level. That's been a goal of mine for too long.
My dad passed another cancer screening yesterday so i can, once again, breath for a few weeks. tattoo next Thursday...
HUGS.
