P90X is awesome! My kind of workout!! I am on week two of the Lean regime and can't get enough. I thought it best to do Lean for training block 1 with light weights to be sure my back is as ship shape and sturdy as I think it is. Then switching over to Classic for training block 2 and Doubles for training block 3. How is it going for you? Do you like the recovery drink? I haven't tried it yet due to the cost.

I went from having a super awesome week to having a really horrendous one.

My gran passed away this week and I had to go back to Ireland. She went into hospital to have an xray two weeks ago, they found an abscess in her bowel and have had to have surgery to drain it. They then found cancer in her bowel too and she...

We better speak more in real life once you are no longer on here. I did plan on cancelling, I checked what date I had it until and then must have completely forgotten. Ah well.

Eeek not long left at the gym now. I cannot wait until we go and see Tron it will be awesome.
ikaruga:
aw, thanks.
there seems to be a random mix of electronica (from the aces to terrible) that's helping me slog through cardio at present. although right now my calves appear to hate me.
I'm vaguely contemplating this p90x lark, and if it works, fantastic, but if not, then hopefully I can cherry pick what I need out of it.
I'm hoping to have a mass tidy/cull/clear-out in the new year. 3 friends have agreed to help (granted, they want one thing of mine to do so eeek but they claim they won't take the piss, and that I can veto)

I've only seen the first episode of new Dexter, I need to catch up. Vampire Diaries is amazing! Last weeks episode was eeek I really want to know what the moonstone is all about and why does Katherine want it? It's so good.

As soon as Harry Potter tickets go on sale we need to get them! I am so excited about seeing it. Yes, I cannot wait for horror movie night, I'm off the next day so is it cool to crash at yours?

So my first full week at work was awesome but exhausting! I've never worked in a job where I've been on my feet all day never mind throwing in some exercise too! I haven't slept this good in quite some time hehe! I've started a new workout at the gym too which is killer but I'm hoping will help me get towards the physique I'm...

Erm, no major "tips" persay, but I usually use this recipie for the red pepper humus:

1 can of chick peas (drained)
2 red peppers (roasted)
2-4 tablespoons of lemon juice (to your taste)
1 1/2 tablespoons of tahini
2 crushed garlic cloves
1/2 teaspoon of salt
2 tablespoons of olive oil
1-2 chilies (if you like a small kick, or leave em out if you don't smile )

throw em all in a blender and blitz!

If you want to make a plain one, just use some of the liquid from the can (you don't need it when using peppers as they add liquid when roasted) of chickpeas (about 1/4 of the tin and then add more if it's too thick).

You can freeze the stuff, and once you're using it, if it's a tad dry, just pop a little oil in there and mix it in xx
