Had a fun labor day weekend. Spent most of it with the family down at the coast...which, as always, is mixed. I love my family but I don't feel obligateed or even particularly motivated to spend a lot of time around them.
We went out on my uncle's 20 footer out into the ocean to search for fish. We finally found a bunch of red snapper which is aweseome tasty. Then he got lost (his GPS went out and he was navigating on beer more than sense) and when we finally got figured out, we ran out of gas 20 miles offshore. it was really no big deal. the maritime version of AAA came and brought us fuel and led us back into port.

Did the beach thing with the family also. I hate the beach, but we weren't there for long. Actually let me rephrase. I don't hate the beach. I hate crowds of people and I hate Hate HATE sand. so..ok...I hate the beach.

got to spend time with my 2 mos old nephew which was interesting. he gurgles a lot. and sleeps all the time.

actual Labor Day was spent tubing down the Comal River with friends and drinking. good times.

other stuff going on but i'm supposed to be leaving for work 3 minutes ago.

girlfriend is in town, so if I'm not around much for a couple of weeks, that's why.
