Been a good holiday. Haven't had to work too much, which is nice.
this is the weird time of the year when work is scarce. South Texas just isn't COLD enough for a lot of heating calls and it's nice out so cooling isn't really an issue for most people either. I enjoy the extra time off of work to sit home in my pajamas and read, but it also means keeping a closer eye on my finances...which kinda sucks 'cause there's lots of things I'd like to get for nieces and nephews and friends.
But I spent my Thanksgiving with friends and family after a brief work stint in the morning. mostly finishing up reports for month's end. Large meal with my grandmother went well followed by more feasting with friends. cannot complain.
just had lunch with old friends from way back (high school) that I rarely ever get to talk to anymore and that was good. all in all a very pleasant few days.

datsun:
I'm glad you've been getting to spend time with people you care about. To me, that's the most important thing about the holidays. Hope you're still getting turkey sandwiches.
