Hello lovelies,
So...If (and this is a big if) my subscription doesn't run out before I get my financial aid, I will not be going offline in SG world. I know I'm not incredibly active but I'm hoping that having 4 classes instead of 6 next semester will give me more time to be social and talk to all the people I miss.
In other news, Classes start Monday and let's hope I get money on time so I can go grocery shopping. Seriously, schools have a special talent in not releasing funds in a timely fashion. Not like I have texts I need or anything, lol
I'm excited however, 4 classes instead of 6 like I mentioned earlier. I should have them all with my lovely Anthro ladies (thats Anthropology, not furries, keep your mind out of the gutters, lol) and I don't have Friday classes since one of mine are online. I can't wait.
Oh my that's nerdy isn't it?
^_^
I am excited for classes however, as I am enrolled in BioArchaeology, Skeletal Biology, Archaeology of Death, and Poisons, People, and the Environment. Full of nerdy science deliciousness that should in no way stress me quite as much as Anthropological Theory did.
Oooooh Oooooh! I'm going to be applying to Grad School soon. I'll graduate (again) in May, and since I feel no need to accrue yet another undergraduate degree, I will be applying to The University of Florida's Masters of Science in Forensic Science program. Luckily, the program is online so I don't have to try to scrape money together to try to get to the Florida. Not that I have anything against Florida, however, the program is designed for students who can't get to Florida, as well as for people who are already working and cannot quit to try to further their education.
I've been stressing non-stop about what to do with my impending graduation, so plotting myself along this course definitely alleviates stress which is more than lovely right now.
Technically I have until May to apply, but I am going to try to get the full application as well as the GRE done by mid-February at the latest. Wish me luck and any advice would be MORE than welcome!
I've also been addicted to Doctor Who this past week. I was always in love with it, but I was putting off really getting into the series since I knew I would get so dragged in that I would have to watch as much as possible and just never had time. Well on Christmas Day and New Years Day, BBC America played day long marathons that I watched and got hooked on so all this week I have been watching it non-stop. Seriously. I started Season 1 Monday and I am now starting Season 5 although I'm kind of sad because David Tennant is my favorite Doctor so I'm going to be heart broken to seen him go, although many of my friends have said that Matt Smith is a lovely Doctor as well, so I'm going to give him a fair shot.
Too bad I only have basic cable so I don't get BBC America and I can't watch the new Season 6 as it starts now
Oh Doctor how I love you.
Anywho, going to go watch Doctor Who and eat homemade curry rice om nom nom.
Perfect Friday night? Why yes, I think so.
In the words of the Doctor....Alonsi!!

Sounds like some very interesting and cool classes. I hope the decreased number of classes will let you breathe a little bit more this semester. Hope the pending snow doesn't dash all new semester fun on Monday.
