Time for my completely arbitrary update. A friend and I are currently playing all the Castlevania titles pertinant to the series, despite the fact thart the story lines for Legend, Circle of the Moon, and the 2 N64 ones were omitted, and Castlevania 4 is pretty much a remake of 1 story-wise.

Well you should definately get the dissection albums then. I like the live one too. If you ever see them playing then you must see them. I know what you mean about politics like Jon Nodveidt (from dissection) just got out of prison for being accessory to murder but its just his creative side I am in love with! Really though with the politics of some of those bands you feel you shouldnt support them at all no matter how much you like the music they make. Its hard, hope so too about Emperor but I dont really keep up on that stuff, I just listen to the cds. Emperors albums are really good. I liked Prometheus a lot.
