Whee okay, kinda late on an update. Like anyone reads
this fun and games.
So the show started, and it's been really.. well it's been.
Sold one print to the lady who was organizing the floor
people for the opening.. because she used to live near
it and always wanted a picture, the one called "closeout
sale" in my pics.. so it's kinda luck more than quality
on that one that produced a sale ...
Oh well. Talked to a few people who liked my stuff,
which was cool... watched alot of people stare for a while
and discuss it between people in their group, which was
also cool. I don't need the money, so it's not that bad.
Plus met a guy who had some drawings named mike
who was cool as hell. Then he intro's me to his wife
amy who's also.. cool as hell. I talked alot of photo
geek w/ Amy who's also a photographer. I mean they
were both amazingly fucking cool people. Met some
other cool folks as well. It's been a great experience,
fuck the money, ya know?
So that's where it stands. Have one sale. It's good
enough, definately.... It's also been good encourage-
ment, which is worth more than sales to me.
I'm happy. Work's been good, met people at work,
met people at the show, the show is going pretty good.
The closing party is saturday. If anyone in Tampa Bay
reads this, and wants to come along lemme know.
It's a party thrown "by the artists" which means we
bring the booze. If you wanna show up lemme know,
I'm bringing cheap beer, but wanna bring enough.
Figured a few friends and my bro. My parents are going
to make it as well.
It's definately been a very rewarding thing. I hope to
get in more of these and help the show itself. The
Galacorina is a great idea for Tampa Bay.
