Note to potential new home owners: If you buy a house w/ 1300sq ft of tile, and you often wake up thirsty in the middle of the night, walk to the kitchen to get water in the middle of the night.. make sure you've not spilled a bit of water on the tile earlier in the night. It's slippery and you may not be awake enough to catch yourself if you grab for the fridge, and thus project yourself forwards.
Best. Week. Ever.
Good things:
Friend's dentist he'd recommended got me in the next day, ended up being in the same complex as my office (thus was a 2minute walk from work), and had me in at 12;15, out at 5:30 and no one can tell a difference. They're magic.
Got accepted into a local "artist community website" that you have to submit for.. so that's kinda cool.
And on the original topic, realized.. if something as f'd up as the above (between some dental insurance, luck on getting into the dentist, and having the cash in the bank to pay my part) is essentially an "inconvenience".. life is good.
(and yes, that pic is about 4 mintues after it happened... after I was un-dazed, I went to the bathroom, swished some water, thought "I'm alive.. okay.. where's the camera?".. some pics aren't all shaky and crap like that one, but I liked the angle
