AGh, quick updates.. work's nuts, mighta found a house (need to get it inspected), got an ipod which is one of the most fantastic things I've owned in a while... that's about it!

Contemplating killing off the SG account, it's too much cash for some thing I rarely use these days.l..

I do tend to use photoshop qite often... sometimes just to resize or adjust color or contrast, but lately I have been adding shadows, effects and"hand tinting", among other techniques to get the photo to have the feel I want. To me the photoshopping makes it more like an art form. Anyone could have taken that same shot, but it was me who added this or that and made the image a reflection of what I was actually thinking and feeling at the time I took that photo.It makes that visual still truelly mine. Does that make sense?

I used to live in a state of "the house only gets cleaned when there is company". Then I dated a Virgo and also had an overly cleanly gay roomie ( I swear he still thinks he is martha)and now I am pretty good at keeping my part of the apt. livable. Yeah...I'm thinking about doing a livining will too. I do NOT want my friends subjected to a funeral like that. Dave's funeral was horrible. All of his relatives came down from the mountains of North Carolina and the preacher did this whole 'fire & brimstone' Baptist revival thing. We were pissed! About 200 of Tampa's over-30 punks and skins were all getting preached at.

Two rules: No suits...no religion. Get spiritual all you want but you start preaching and I am gonna haunt them right out of thr room.

Are you doing the total crazy no carbs at all atkins thing? SOuth beach diet is pretty much the same thing but less restirictive and in my opinion a little healthier. I had a pal who lost 17 lbs in the first mointh and has kept it all off!

after having a near freak out over a failed card - always make sure your images are backed up before you start playing with them. your rig sounds solid.

i am planning to dump both my 1gig cards for 512s for that reason.

get a firewire card reader or USB2...i have an USB and it takes forever to dump images.

wheee, quick pointless update.

bcr stuff done, have I believe 4 pieces selected for the Gala (wanna do like another 2-4 at least past that).. and cable everything is down at home.. which means no TV, no phone, no internet.. NOT A SINGLE LUXURY!

whee.. so that's that. will be kinda inactive for a while until cable's back..
