So glad our tax dollars go to waste.
So I went to see my public defender this morning. I talked to some broad who is not even my attorney for less than 5 minutes and they sent me on my merry way with a reminder card that says to come back at 7:45 a.m. on the 28th so I can talk to my actual attorney for 5 minutes before I go into court to get sentenced. Wee!
I just LOVE driving 80 miles for 5 mintues, don't you?
On the positive though, I did get to stay with Nick last night and we watched Communion and cuddled, and he gave me a big ol hug and smooches this morning before he left for work, so I think that made the drive worthwhile.
Oh, just so everyone knows, our dog has worms. Awesome.
Today I am going to study, but before that, my sister and I are going to go get some lunch and I am going to make a pie wish because today I need pie and god help whoever gets in my way while I try to get it. Let's hear it for hormones people!
Besides, I will work that shit off at the gym, so whatever.
Ah. The interview I had last night got postponed, which I am sorely disappointed about. I've met like everyone and their grandmother at this spa, and the owner keeps having to reschedule our actual interview. So I'm gonna call again tomorrow just to remind her. I was pissed though, I was all prepared for that shit, I was wearing my new girly stupid clothes and my hair was all done nicely and blah. Whatever.
I also missed my apointment at the mechanic school today because after talking to my "public defender", that 5 minutes of me blubbering my story out drained me and I just wanted to go home. So reschedule I will. Besides, it's right across the street from the courthouse so it's not like I won't be back out there again, in oh, 6 days.
