Does your daughter live with you? If she doesn't I say go for it! If she does I say go for it cautiously. I had one of the best relationships of my life with a guy who was 12 years older than me. It was amazing. We were compatible in so many ways. The way it ended is something to be considered. He totally didn't want to get married or even live together. That was a giant bummer for me and I decided to call it quits and move on. It was a good decision for me, but maybe not such a smooth move on his part. He still regrets not snapping me up when he had the chance. Oh well, live and learn. I like to do both things and you have to take some action to live and to learn!! Move forward, soldier!

Oh yeah and I wish my cat loved me enough to make a bird kill for me. Actually he tries, but I think the problem here is that he's always been more of an inside cat than outside, so his predatory skills may be a bit rusty. when I was small ... I visited haarvard and fell in love. I insisted that I would go there! A lot of ppl tried very hard to talk me out of it, but to no avail. I applied. i remember when my little cousin was like 3 years old and this was during the time when McGuyver was really big, right? and so he was getting tickled by my uncle and he ripped my uncle's front shirt pocket. he immediately gets this scared/shocked look on his face and yells:
get the duct tape... get the duct tape. that'll fix it.
i still crack up thinking about how frantic he sounded but just how sure he was that it could fix anything.
