Recording
The weekend was awsome, it totaly exceeded all my expectations. We recorded at Toybox in Bristol, Its the Basement of a Georgian house in Portland Square
its usually full of Cracky's and ladys of the night, however this weekend they were putting up a circus tent in the middle of it. thats surely a good sign! anyway, toybox is in the basement of this building and has recorded bands and artists such as Co-ownerey person Kid Carpet who, with Ali, recently did a fatboy slim remix, Gravenhurst, our producer Ali's band, Termites, the dogs and loads of other very cool bands. anyway we managed to get 5 songs down, which is cool, then we went a bit mad, for some reason we turned into the Beach Boys at one point and started recording ourselves throwing stuff across the room, plucking piano strings, screaming, attempting to play the trumpet and playing theremins. all of which i have to say Ali, the engineer/producer/living ledgend semed to find highly amusing, but all credit to him, he's made it sound awsome, im just glad he's doing it for us now cause he's gonna be in demand soon.
it sounds great, unfortunatly i cant put any of it online yet as it need's mastering, but once it's up we''ll turn into myspace whore's. there are photo's -
