Okay, so I haven't updated in a long ass time.
I just got back yesterday from Merida, Mexico and fell in love. Minus the fact that they aren't exactly vegetarian friendly, I absolutely love it there. The architecture is gorgeous, the culture is unbelievable, and the crime rate is little to none (which for third world Mexico, is astonishing). And I must say, I felt ten times safer walking the streets of Merida as compared to anywhere in the US. I wish I got to do more exploring while I was there, but it was definetely nice to experience another culture besides shitty American culture for the first time.
Also, I am moving to Los Angeles the first week of April. Yes, I decided to make a mockery of everything I believe in and try to pursue a filmmaking career in Hollywood. I will be one of many, many people competing for a very scarce prize, throwing myself at low-paying jobs that demand overflowing time and devotion. Starting at the bottom to have a meager shot at the top.
I am really excited, though. The monotony of Georgia is really getting to me and though I have caused it myself, I am in limbo. Waiting, waiting, waiting....So it's definately time for a change and a challenge. My mind has turned to mush these past few months from lack of stimulation, and while I am taking sheer advantage of my lazy, sloth-like state, it's getting old. I have perfected the art of doing absolutely nothing, and now it's time to move on.
Perhaps I will put up some pictures from my trip when I have time....More for later.

You've probably already done your homework on this, but if you have any questions about L.A., let me know (I'm from Georgia and live in L.A. now).
