When Brenda messaged me after seeing Fantastic Four for the first time to tell me that she thought The Thing was hot, I knew we had something special. Which is good, because shell be here in Atlanta to stay in two weeks. wyspurrs is going to be jaunting down to Tampa to pick her up and bring her up on December 15th. I am ecstatic. This means that shell be here in time for the next Hexxt event and can share in Christmas with the family, which actually makes me care about Christmas.
My back has been hurting in a bad way lately. I dont normally have serious back pain, but on the way to bed last night it felt like someone stabbed me in the spine with an ice pick. I couldnt even move for a while. Ive never had back pain like that before. It feels tons better since wyspurr gave me a thorough back rub. It sounded like something popped back into place and now instead of being agonizing its just a little tender.
Yesterday wyspurr and I took the kids to Ikea and met up with BigBlack81. It was just a browsing run to make a list of the things that we needed and how much they cost. Were getting really focused on getting the apartment in order. Its pretty much unanimous that BigBlack81is now a long-term fixture of the Arcane Family household so all once katfireblade is fully out and Brenda is fully in we will finally be able to get things good and truly settled down for a change. No more couch surfers until we have a new place is a rule should embrace. We need to do everything possible to cut down the chaos in our life so we can get focused on improving our situation.
On the front of the opposite of improving our situation, wyspurr got free tickets to a hockey game tonight. Since neither of us are all that into hockey and were desperately in need of money right now since were well short of rent we took Ocean up on his offer to let him scalp the tickets for a cut of the money. Even if we got rid of the tickets for half what they normally cost it would have been a huge help. Unfortunately as soon as he was out there a gang of black guys told him he was on their spot and they gave him $20 for the tickets. So what looked like a beacon of hope for our financial situation turned into a squishy turd.
