For those of you who own a DSLR, I want to make a completely unsolicited pitch for a product I just tried. I ordered a Copper Hill Sensor Swipe that came in the mail today. My D70 sensor was surprisingly easy to clean, considering how filthy it was. Blowing air (with the "Rocket" from Giottos) and charging a nylon brush with compressed air and brushing the sensor were doing absolutely nothing. This kit cleaned it almost completely in about 8 swipes.

Ok well depending how long you are there for there are a few places that I loved.

I didn't hit the West Coast Islands at all cause I heard it was still pretty bad over on that end. But the East coast islands are beautiful.

Koh Samui. Gorgeous wanted and sand, we stayed in Chumpong (not sure of the spelling but it's the Northern east side) It was more of a "couples" kind of island, well at least from what we saw there.

Koh Phangnan is more the party island as that's where the full moon parties are held. They take a number out of that beach and after seeing what I saw I wouldn't swim in the water on that beach. puke BUT. Mai Pen Rai wich is on the east side of the island is gorgeous and very secluded. There are waterfall you can hike up to around there as well. It's a very nice relaxing place but be careful, it CAN suck you in there haha.

Koh Tao. Now this was my personal favourite, probably because that's where I got my diving certificates. There really isn't much of a beach there to chill on because the whole island is one big coral reef but it's still wonderful none the less. I stayed at the seashell resort in Sairee village. That island is SUPER small, you can go around it in a boat in probably less then 2 hours.

Bangkok is just a big city same as all big cities. Chiang Mai is up in the middle of the jungle, that's where I suggested the elephant ride. We did a jungle trek which was amazing and hot! haha. It's so worth it though. We didn't have the time but you can go farther north to the golden triangle which is even more secluded and less curropted by the modern english speaking world. It also requires you to get more shots and the malaria pills so we kind of avoided any place that was getting close to the boarders.

I hope this helped at all. Ask me anything more if you need to. I will help as best I can.
