The breakdown on the photo I posted there is like this: 1/250th, f/11, Sigma 50mm f/2.8 EX Macro lens, Canon 20D body, ISO 200, Canon 580EX flash with a Lightsphere II diffuser attached, flash power manually set (I believe at 1/8th power).
The lens was manually focused all the way to 1:1 and I just moved the camera closer or further away to focus. The photo displayed unreasonably high noise levels for ISO 200.
