Hi everyone!
I had a great weekend. Went out for a fantastic Indian meal on Saturday night and then spent the rest of the time messing around with my website. One day, I might even do the whole FTP thing, lol.
Still nothing to contribute on the Bill Bryson front?

Bill Bryson--- great travel writer. my favourite book of his, though, is Mother Tongue, which is a (light-hearted) history of the English language. In terms of travel, I really enjoyed "Neither Here Nor There", probably because I did the whole interrailing thing as well
I was given "A Short History of Nearly Everything" at Christmas, but I haven't read it yet--- the hardback version looks kind of intimidating
take care pisto xoxo
Bill Bryson - I read Notes from a Small Island many years ago and didn't really like it. A friend was raving about it and made me read it but nope, just didn't get it.
How come there's no link to this site of your in your profile? I'd like to see it.
Cheers
