Guess who's coming back on Wednesday??? Same time as the guys coming to rebuild the front door. Odd, yet strangely symbolic. The house went into what could be described as stasis during the 6 weeks he was in hospital...

I've just heard the news. They've put a tracheostomy tube in my Dad's neck and woken him up! After two weeks of being on a life support machine, I'd thought this day would be a little further on!!!!

God, he's a tough bugger! I'm so happy, you can't possibly imagine!!! I'm starting to invision a complete recovery... SOON! Don't get ahead of yourself... Patience.
