man, it's been forever since my last update, this one may end up being a bit lengthy, my apologies in advance.
So vegas is turning out to be way better than expected, i'm really having a great time in this city...locals are so much more friendly here than they are in miami. I got a job as a poker dealer for the world series of poker, which i'm pretty happy about, but at the same time kind of pissed about because that means I wont be able to play in any of the events. In addition to the dealing gig, i also got a job as a dj at a local strip club. Now being that i had never worked in a strip club before (i lied and said i had dj'd for a while in miami) i didnt really know what to expect. But, truth be told, i actually kind of enjoy it, the work is super easy, the majority of the dancers and doorman are good, down to earth, normal people...which came as quite a shock to me, as i was expecting meth addicted psychos with a ton of bruises. I also came to the conclusion that despite things going well for me here, i really need to get my life back on track...i mean, afterall, i went to school, recieved two degrees in three years and now i'm working at strip clubs and poker rooms...i bet my mom is really proud. But aside from my lack of productivity in the real world, all is well, roomate and i are getting along very well (he's winning a ton at the tables...he's a poker player too)...and the friends we've made thus far are really good people too, down to earth people that like to party pretty hard. Anyway, i'm begining to ramble...hope you are all well...peace homies...
