So office xmas part was waaaaaaay better than expected.
Kinda had me a date out of it.
The MRI got cancelled b/c the insurance wouldnt pay for it. So I instead went to the orthopediest. He thinks physical therapy will take care of it becasue it is a problem with muscles around the kneecap instead of torn cartilage. The best news is the x-rays show that the bone looks good. So i get 4 weeks for PT 3 times a week with a guy named Travers.
I also got to go to my Xmas ritual tonight with is one of my mentor's lectures on the evolution of Xmas and Santa Claus. He uses Saturday Evening Post covers by Rockwell to show how the looks of Santa changed over the years. This is the 6th year I've been. It is also special to me since it was the first lecture/event that the Religious Studies Society(Religious Studies Club at VCU where I went to college and was a Religious Studies major) hosted after I resurected it.
