Signs of aging.
I fell out of the tub on Thursday...
I didn't get dizzy, or slip on soap or anything that makes sense, I just lost my balance for no good reason and fell over. Landed outside of the tub, on the floor in front of the toilet. Got back up again and continued showering.
At first I thought it was funny, I didn't hurt myself, just felt kinda like a fool.
Then later that night, I tried to go to sleep.
Well, my right shoulder started hurting, really bad actually.
I turned around and moved about and tried to find a comfortable position to sleep in.
No matter what I did it just got worse and worse.
Then my left shoulder started to hurt in the same way, 'shitty' thinks I.
So I got up and took some ibuprofen to try and relieve the pain.
Then it gets worse yet and my chest starts hurting so bad that I could hardly breathe.
Needless to say I'm really scared at this point, it's 3:00 in the morning and I'm in so much pain I can't think straight. So I call my folks to see if they have any suggestions on what I should do.
Next thing I know they're picking me up and taking me to the hospital.
I could give a play by play of what happened there but, let's just say they check me out and I'm fine.
No heart attack nothing like that. It was heartburn and sore muscles from the fall.
I've fallen like that before, and when if you're not bleeding you're fine right?
Not any more. Apparently pain can linger in you for a long time before it actually strikes.
My folks say it's a sign that I'm an adult now. My joints are more sensitive to trauma.
Hooray.
So for the next four days or so I can't lay down because that will harm the shoulders more.
Makes sleeping suck, since I usually sleep face down.
Ahhh well.

I know that it's hard to like oneself...but sometimes it gets so bad that everything just kinda falls apart, and sorta blows up in a blog that you kinda didn't even mean to write
