Sometimes I find it hard to get to sleep.
Rather often actually.
The mind wanders and travels so fast that I can't calm myself down enough to sleep.
Bed sheets get tossed about, pillows rearanged, and countless songs or images run through my head.
No amount of counting sheep will help me.
All I can do is distract myself until I either get tired, or it's time to get on with tomorrow.
I have a doctor's apointment tomorrow.
I have a couple of illnesses that are hard to find.
Black Death, and Tuberculosis.
They make me giggle.

Sometimes i wake up and go outside and smell the air, it calms me and restores a sense of balance. Try some nice chamomile tea (noncaffenated) before bed, it helps the restless sleeper
