Well today.
Today was boring.
I had my first class meeting of the semester. I looked my professor up on ratemyprofessors.com and she got 3 out of 3 awful reviews. Terrific. But she might teach the way I like to be taught. So I'm going to tough it out.
Also had my fitness assessment with a personal trainer today at 4.
My weight surprised me. Last time I weighed myself I was between 173 & 175. I got on the scale, in full workout gear and weight 170lbs! Woohoo.
Buuuut my body fat % was awful. 38.4% ?!
Granted I'm sure having DD boobs is a large factor in this. But still.
The assessment said this:
I have nearly no upper body strength.
I really need to work on my core. I couldn't hold a plank for more than 43 seconds.
All of my power is in my legs.
And I need to build my endurance.
I wish I had the money to be able to pay for a personal trainer, but unfortunately that's just not the case. I wish it was included in the price of the membership. I would pay more per month for that to be included.
Luckily the gym is full of gay dudes and women....I think I saw one straight dude. He was cute.
Unfortunately my assessment didn't get done in time to catch the bodyworks class. But I jumped on the treadmill and busted out a mile walking and running in about 17 minutes. Then I went home.
I hurt my back this weekend having to carry Evie all the time....go me. So the pain has been somewhat limiting and after the assessment it started to flare up.
I will be going to the gym with my mom as well, luckily she's extremely fit and knows what she's doing so she will be able to hopefully make a workout plan for me to follow each week. I hope.
I'm going out tonight with a couple of friends to celebrate my 6lbs lost
But I'm not going to go overboard.
But hopefully there will be pictures !
Tomorrow I'm back in the gym again there's a bodyworks class at 12:15 and kickbox cardio at 4:30
