Ok. Sorry I'm a day behind in posting. Had some internet connectivity issues! AT&T still hasn't connected my internet. It's been a month?
Anyway, so this is my post for last night, since you know, 30 days of fitness soooooooo.
Here we go.
November 8th 2011 Fitness and diet:
I'm a little bummed about my fitness aspect. I realized that I need to buy a new clicker just to get into the gym...every other entrance I have access to because I have a code, but the gym building isn't set up to a code. Which makes sense because the club house is there too...and I'm sure codes aren't impossible to think of. So $50 for a clicker and I'll be in my complex gym.
I did do some exercises with my resistance bands though! So I got some strength training in and I worked my core a little bit, but as far as intensity goes, the bands do nothing.
My water intake was low as well. For some reason, yesterday I was really craving milk, so I kept drinking milk instead of water so my intake was I do believe a total of 3.5 glasses
Anyway here is what the snack and my dinner looked like, since I'm sure everyone knows what a grapefruit looks like
The pasta is the same typical pasta dinner I make all the time. Loaded with zucchini, this time I added green peppers...and instead of the sausage in the pasta, I kept a few pieces out to the side to eat separately...I dunno why.
So other than writing for the next 30 days, every 30 days until I lose 43 pounds, I'm also going to start training for a 5k.
I found the Couch-To-5k Plan when I was looking for beginner tips on working out and all that jazz.So today is my first day for c25k. Once I'm done training, hopefully in January, my mom and I are going to find a 5k to run in. Also I mentioned it to the tattoo artist and he mentioned a couple he is going to run in around March. He runs 3-4 miles per day...I'm not there yet, but hopefully when I am able to run those distances, I can finally have an exercise partner...bc this whole working out and walking with the dogs thing is boring and annoying.
Other things that I've done. I haven't had a drink since Sunday. And before that......it was.....sometime earlier in the week. I don't remember, probably Halloween. With that said...my smoking has gone down tremendously. I am down to one cigarette every other day or so. And even Sunday when I was drinking, I may have only had 4 or so? That's a huge drop from me usually coming close to cleaning out a pack in a night of drinking. This is definitely going to come in handy with this 5k training.
So I had posted in the weight loss group about my 30 days of fitness and my 5k training to see if anyone would want to join forces and go it together. Online support, or even people who live here in or around Atlanta who want to join in. So that I'm not just doing my training in the gym, I am going to break it up and train at the park as well.
Here's what the first week looks like...yes, my planner is very empty...I'm not done filling out everything for the rest of the week or today lol.

Oh yeah I agree with Nuka, GO YOU! ...its an inner you know jumping to get out,
Everything happens for a reason and even though I made the choice, something impulsed me to do it, I guess that was my own happiness.
