Have you ever planted your feet on the ground and starred as hard as you could at one star, where everything around you blacks out and you can just see that one star, maybe moving just a bit or twinkling back at you, and you realize you are such a small part of an immensely huge equation. I have and I know my life is...

Sorry to all you Blog diggers, I have been so busy. So the thing I thought was going to work out with an old friend fizzled out and I'm single again, one day I'll find the right one. On the other hand I have been busy like a workhorse working on a non-profit venture called 'Support Local Music' it's a group that mainly discusses when...

Sorry I missed the past couple of days, have been dealing with many doctors recently and I find it hard to unwind my mind after its been spun around so much. Well I haven't gotten much further with my book or tattoo as most of my attention has turned toward a couple of other things such as; my new SG: Beauty Redefined book, by the...

What a night and day, from negative to positive. My night last night started off normal until one of my friends, who has always been a little off kilter, called to tell me he had an emergency going on at midnight and he needed a place to stay. Hesitating I said yes, just because this is a friend who is likely to be so drunk...

I am trying my best to avoid thinking about this crud that has taken over my head, sinus trouble. I am feeling incredibly happy since I am listening to some great live music, Galactic, and thinking about how I have re-connected with an amazing friend of mine I haven't spoken with in almost 15 years. It has been hard for me to see pass a...

Regarding my post about my tattoo idea earlier, How does it sound to have the two hurricane meet in a symbol of infinity but where they actually meet there will be horse heads, one white with blue eyes and one black with red eyes, butting heads? To really show their will always be that battle going on.

Oh yeah and Have a good day all...

Well this morning I had to go through my marathon of doctors appointments at the VA and head shrinkers. There is something about having to fast for 12 hours and then going to an apartment size building where the dying and dead have seen their end, opening your arms so they can take over 6 viles of blood to analyze every little cell to see the...

I have finally gotten some productive work done on my own unique piece of writing. It's really hard to put together a bunch of stories told from the perspective of the substance you are on at that particular moment, and when looking at all these existential moments in time in the past it makes me see that sobriety could be the craziest state of mind...

That tattoo sounds like a badass idea. But you might be looking at a little more than $1500 to put in to this work.
Have you found anyone who knows what you're idea is?
I think it's great how you're incorporating what you've personally gone through with Katrina and every day battles of humanity into one piece.
Really stoked to see how this turns out!!!

I have not brought nothing more than the Idea to a few local artist who told me it would probably be over 1000, but I'm willing to pay whatever for a great piece of artwork. I'm an art lover, plus I got plenty of cash coming from the government so its no problem for me to drop 3000 on it if need be. I would even be willing to travel to someone out of town if I knew they were the best artist for the project.

My name is Richard Munoz and I grew up around Nola, like I said, and I did spend six years in the Army National Guard. I spent one year in Afghanistan. 2003. and it was the highest of my life. I was literally thousands of feet above sea level and spent most of my time clearing hashish fields of landmines. When I came back I...
