Hello Friday.
I am in such a great mood. I've ridden 3 times this week and have ridden 3 different horses.
I am now at two barns training a total of 5 horses.
I have 2 horses in Union City, Ga and 3 (for certain) in Buford, Ga.
I posted pictures of the two in Union City in my last blog.
Here are 2 of the 3 in Buford.
Sugar is a quarter horse and a lesson horse that has some bad habits that need to be worked out on an every other day basis.
Jessie is an appendix quarter horse and is no longer in lessons because she's 4 and has figured out how to get out of being in lessons. She's my main project because she has the most work which only someone who knows what they are doing can train her: bit and rig work, draw rein work and German martingale work, and also just work in the saddle since she only gets one lesson per week with an intermediate rider.
The third is an arabian lesson horse named Touche'. She just needs work under saddle keeping her collected and worked when she's not in lessons. Unfortunately I didn't have my phone on me to take pictures of her while we were working in the bit and rig like I was able to do with Jessie.
Other notes.....
I finally figured out what I'm going as for Halloween. Usually I'm the one who puts something boring together last minute and just goes with it, and last year I worked.
The bubble head nurse from Silent Hill.
Now...while the mask is truly amazing....I really don't feel like only having eye holes and a slight mouth hole for the entire night, so the mask I'm doing differently.
I'm actually ordering latex off of some FX website and going to mold to my face where I want the bandages placed. Thinking diagonally across my face going from under my bangs somewhat across my eye, across my nose, across the corner of my mouth, and then down under my chin and upper part of my neck. And in a couple of other ways. I'll do paper mache gauze over the latex once it's been formed and stain and paint that so it looks rotten and bloody. This way I can wear some dramatic eyelashes and dark eye makeup and still show some of my actual skin.
Here's the dress I ordered:
I'm going to do a tea dye on it to get it looking old and brownish and then going to go over it with watered down acrylic paint to give it a rotten look as well.
I'm going to buy some cute beige colored pumps or wedges to wear with it so they go along with the brownish of the dress. As for my skin, I'm still debating if I should do some sort of ashen zombie-dead look or just keep my regular skin since I'm losing the little bit of color I had from summer. I figure I might leave it since a) it's messy and b) i don't want my tattoos looking ashy.
Anyway, I am seeing my mom today after class. Which is neat because I haven't seen her in months.
And I have a date with this dude:
6'5'' and handsome. Baseball player. and totally sweet.
