Oi oi !
As promised, I will rejoice you with tales from my family reunion.
Aunt Lizzie ( short for Elizabeth ), started to drink 4 hours before I had arrived. By the time I got there, she had drank 5 bottles of red wine, two bottles of champagne and two glasses of Porto. Not only was she going on about how she loved everyone and no one here truely knew her, she decided she had to show us who she really was.... so she started to rip her clothes off and streak around the party.... tagging along her recently opened bottle of peach schnapps. At that point, she was already running around everywhere in the cottage. Then she got outside, where most of the older relatives where sipping tea and coffee. All Im going to say is that most of them arent going to need viagra after today (she is only 32). Auntie lizzy finnally passed out naked being the pool for about two hours...
My mom ... well she was enjoying herself. No no, not as much as auntie there but still. She started eating her meal with two bottles of red wine... and then decided to accompany her two brothers for a walk . Code for : Im going for a spliff, be right back !. And she ended up being totally sick. She puked everywhere. And the she passed out in a hammock. I had to carry her in my arms back to the car. And when I got back home I tucked her into her bed.
My pop was the best. I talked with him for ages sipping tea. He is such an interesting old fellow. He actually started the first radio station in his town. Anyway we talked for ages about music. I didnt knew he actually studied classical piano for years !
My brother was extatic about his new camera so he was taking pictures of everyone. Ill post some up here soon !
Ariane, my from now on big sister was soo worried about my mom ! She helped me carry her into the car. Oh and she hate like 8 servings of dessert
As for me well, I spent most of my time walking in the woods with my pop.. I talked with him for ages sipping tea. He is such an interesting old fellow. He actually started the first radio station in his town. Anyway we talked for ages about music. I didnt knew he actually studied classical piano for years ! And he was telling me about how things were back then and how so much people died in both ww1 and ww2 . And how that affected my diverse family. How we sort of splitted up in two and came back together. He was quite happy to see how everyone was enjoying themselves now. He was almost crying when he looked at all the kids playing together. And I too had a tear in my eye. It was beautiful to see all thoses kids playing around not understanding what the other kids said but still smiling and loving their cousins... As I mentionned family from all over was there. Usa , Canada, Brittain, France, Germany... Actually, I could feel how my pop felt. It was a very humane moment... I think I got a little closer to my grand father .. and for that I am grateful.

Wow, that sounds a little like how a reunion were to go if there were enough people in my family. I can already see the your Aunt Lizzie = my Aunt Patty and your mom is like mine but she'll just drink beer and go for a "walk" too.

Your profile picture caught my eye... is it based on Lily and Her Soviet Sub? (Or are you the model for the painting ?)
