More old Poetry from highschool....yay!

Still Waters
Still waters run deep,
Deeper still than love or hate.
Standing here at the gate of hell.
I want you to know what I feel,
I hide it deep down inside,
Never washed away,
There it abides.
Streams run to the sea,
But still waters run deep,
And I can't, I won't let you down.
You'd never ask, and it crushes me,
That you'll never see me as I see you,
When you leave my world for your own,
Remember still waters run deep,
and they'll be there when you return.
