I now have my first black eye since I was a kid. If I had a digicam, I'd post a pic. But then my mom might see it.

Man, it sounds like you almost had a good time. I have a co-worker who is a notorious drinker, although he is only 25. On his last birthday, a bunch of people assembled at a restaurant to celebrate. People got so drunk that TWO of my co-workers were injured enough the next day (stitches) that they could not come to work. This is doubly impressive when you realize that the restaurant closed at 10 PM. 
But anyway, good luck on your not drinking. I was sober for a total of 10 years and it doesn't suck.

Back after a hiatus; I should be at school right now, but I'm still recovering from the New Year's flu.
New digs; my new place is nice and quiet, with a great view - even if it is a good 20 minutes outside of downtown. At least this way, I can study without getting into too much trouble...
