so yeah, i don't even want to count how long it's been since the last post. i don't even want to address the lapse or make lame excusses. let's pick up as if nothing perculliar's gone on....
so i had one of those wonderfull "holy crap! this album's so good, why don't i listen to it more?" moments tonight. i was hanging out at Fuel reading the paper when someone put on The Dismemberment Plan's "Change" record. it's a special feeling that you don't get too often, and that can't be forced. just soak it up and sing along. Change has done this to me a couple of times now. i have to admit, "Sentimental Man" and "Face of The Earth" are probably one of the best opening two tracks of any record i've heard, but "Following Through" struck with some stunning reverence to the current state of things around here. look it up if you'd like, i won't force lyrics down your throat.
i'll part with a quote from what's normally a pretty worthless section of todays local paper. it was singled out by someone of great bearing these days because of it's strong relevance to particular situations. anyways, i thought it to be a terribly sweet gesture and pretty well put, so allow me to share: "If you were both older, someone with his qualities might be just the ticket for you. If you must blame it on anything, make it a matter of bad timing because, in a sense, that's what it is. That's the downside of young love."
